Summer Starts Here

So the most highly anticipated tournament of the year is over once more and no doubt we are all in a state of depression. Before the tournament got underway you would think that they were only two players in the whole thing not 98. Such is the interest in Tiger Woods and the ‘new’ Tiger, a certain Rory Mclroy. Both came into the Masters on form so it is no wonder that all the attention was on them, however this quite understandably irritated some players. Most notably Lee Westwood who rightly said that he, along with others such as Luke Donald and the three time winner Phil Mickelson might have something to say about the result. However it was the mercurial Bubba Watson who finally prevailed victorious and had the honour of slipping on the green jacket on the Sunday night.

Bubba Watson who has never had a golf lesson in his life has quite understandably his own way of walking round the golf course. In fact I don’t think I can ever remember seeing him hit a straight shot before. No one has ever had the skill to move it from right to left or left to right as Bubba. None more so than on the playoff hole where he found himself deep in the pines and could barely see the green. Remarkably he managed to get it on the green and had no trouble in then securing the biggest prize of them all.

With all the excitement the Masters gives the viewers back here in the UK, it leaves everyone feeling pretty low but fear not. The Masters signals the start of the UK’s golf season so it’s now time to dust off those clubs from the garage. The snow has long gone, the birds are returning, the trees are blossoming and it’s time to possibly get a refresher lesson from your club pro and off you go for another fun packed summer.

To help you on your way Golfing in Style is proud to bring some brand new ranges of golf clothes for this year as well as some classic pieces. First up is none other than Tommy Hilfiger, currently worn by US PGA winner Keegan Bradley. This is very much a smart preppy look synonymous with Tommy, but one that is perfectly suited for the golf course. Within the collection are golf trousers, golf shorts for the long summer days as well as a great choice in golf polo shirts. All perfectly complimenting each other.

Next up we can bring you LUKE 1977, one of the biggest selling brands of recent years, it’s really burst on to the men’s fashion scene with a bang. Luke now sponsor Mark Foster on the European tour who has had some great finishes in the last year. Luke perfectly fits Golfing in Style’s ethos as the clothes are for both on and off the course. We are providing outstanding golfing v-neck jumpers in various pastel shades as well as an array of golf polo’s all in vivid colours. Also some more relaxed jumpers and long sleeved polo shirts for the 19th hole. Every base is covered here.

The last of the new range is from none other than Farah Vintage. Farah Vintage are a fashion brand from the young professional but we have hand picked some pieces that perfectly suit the golf course. You will look as good in their range on the fairways and greens as you will hitting the town at night recall that putt that just didn’t quite drop.

Whatever you decide to wear on the course this year, we hope that Golfing in Style can make you stand out from the crowd in one of our unique golfing ranges.
